1.National Independence Day
Date: 12Th August 2017
Venue: Rawalpindi, Islamabad
The Independence Day is just around the corner , I bet we all are looking forward to it with great zeal and zest. Every year we celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day on 14th August to revive the spirits of Patriotism and Nationalism. Schools, houses, institutes , buildings are decorated with flags and buntings. Our National flag is hoisted every where. Independence day events are held at individual and national levels.We Pakistanis celebrate are national Independence day with great enthusiasm. And why
not ?This land was not served to us in a golden plate. Our ancestors , leaders and bureaucra ts fought, struggled and laid their lives to give us this freedom we enjoy today. Muhammad Ali Jinnah ,is the father and founder of our beloved Pakistan. We all owe to him greatly. Our father dreamt of a separate sovereign democratic state for the Muslims. He dreamt of a place where the rights of every citizen would be protected. He dreamt to eradicate and extirpate poverty. Unfortunately we Pakistanis are not living up to his dreams and expectations. More than 50 percent of our population is living below the poverty line. The rich are getting richer the poor are getting worse.
We all are so indulged, divided and dependent upon various political parties. We have forgotten how we have the power to make a difference. Amidst all this chaos and selfishness UMER welfare has left no stone unturned for bring a revolutionary change in the society. UMER has been helping and serving humanity for a decade. This 12th August UMER welfare is celebrating their ten years of success and our National Independence Day with the underprivileged and deprived of the society. "Yeh Pakistan mera b hai " is yet another distinctive event of the UMER Welfare. Join hands with UMER and contribute to this Noble Cause. Live up to the expectations of our true leader, our father, M.Ali.Jinnah.

4,National Plantaion Day (شجر کاری)
U.M.E.R Welfare organisation has organised the event "National Plantaion Day (شجر کاری)"
To bring the awareness about the importance of growing plants Children of U.M.E.R Welfare planted trees with the help of volunteers .
They have learned about Plant life cycle' seed germination 'parts of plants'and different types of plants through different activities.All the students were very enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the planting process.It was a sunny day , yet the energy levels of the students and volunteers were high. The Tree Plantation programme began with students gathering in the ground. In the spirit of the day, they had brought small little saplings to be planted in school ground. The gardener helped them plant their trees. . All the students were very enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the planting process, even though they felt hot and tired– they loved it. Our respected Chair Person Tasneem Mehboob ,and Faculty members Moj e Bakhtawar and Saira Hakeem also participated in the event , which added to the feel of the event, they also took part in the event and planted trees. Tree planting event connected the students to the benefits of trees and fostered environmental sensitivity in them.It also brought them closer to the environment.

Its almost noon . If you have wasted half your day thinking what to do this Independence day . Get a little inspiration from these little patriots.
U.M.E.R welfare marked this Independence day by planting 71 trees . The objective was to Make Pakistan green for the future generations!

Celebration of Children Day in Partnership of UNICEF
Students and their teacher celebrated this day with great joy and enthusiasm.
They were invited by UNICEF Pop Fest Team members at the place where they took part in different mental & physical activities.
They received gifts and had lunch with many other children. They express their views through drawings and speeches. It was a great day for them.
