International Days

U.M.E.R welfare celebrates the following International Days with their school children :

1.International Street Children Day :

" A Walk in Torn Shoes" was a special event held in lahore to create awarness about the rights and plights of school children

Date: 16^Th April 2017

Venue:Jam e Shirin Park Firdous Market

The International Day for Street Children takes place on April 12^th. The day provides a platform for the millions of street children around the world to speak out so that their rights cannot be ignored." U.M.E.R Welfare " is working voluntarily to support , educate , feed and rehabilitate street children . They are doing all they can , putting all their energies into a very noble cause . They have been teaching street children and working for them since the past 10 years . Now they want to expand so that they can reach and cater maximum number of street children at risk . they have organised a walk with theme " a walk in the torn shoes of street children " which is a worth appreciating effort to bridge the gap between the street children and us . they came up with a very exciting and unique campaign for the awareness of their social cause and recognition of their work . 

  2.Mothers Day :

Every years the students are encouraged to express love to their mothers by making cards and other handicrafts  for them.

5.Safety Week 

'Safety Week ' U.M.E.R Welfare foundation always emphasizes on the Safety measures to ensure the safety of all human beings in the society.In this fast moving society people are prone to more dangers hazards and accidents. It is the foremost responsibility of every sensible member of the society to educate others especially the kids about safety measures.

U.M.E.R welfare feels the responsibility to bring awareness among the kids about the fact that Safety Comes First

The children learnt about how to keep others and themselves safe from all possible dangers!

6.Child Abuse Prevention Program  

U.M.E.R  Welfare students took part in this international campaign of “child abuse” prevention ‘programme’ by getting awareness of their rights through songs, making posters, discussion and explanation by the teachers. The students Participated in the drawing and other activites to demonstrate their views and thoughts. This international Campaign is called My Body is My Body which is an animated and musical way of teaching children about child abuse .It is  led by the singer Chrissy Sykes.
